The Senior Accountant, reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, is responsible for corporate accounting functions, including journal entries, G/L account analysis and reconciliations, spreadsheet preparation and maintenance, monthly closing tasks, selected Sarbanes-Oxley 404 (SOX) controls testing, and special projects.  


This role offers growth potential and there is opportunity to expand the role over time. Our position offers a great work/life balance and does not require any out-of-town travel.  Our offices are in a convenient and scenic suburban location.


  • Prepare and post journal entries for accrued liabilities, advertising, stock-based compensation, equity, miscellaneous receivables, prepaids, and other assets and liabilities

  • Prepare monthly payroll entries and perform an analysis ofpayroll

  • Analyze accounts and prepare account reconciliations

  • Prepare monthly internal financial statements

  • Assist with treasury accounting procedures and communicate with banks

  • Support Tax accounting and return preparation

  • Assist with preparation of Forms 10-Q/K to be filed with the SEC

  • Preparation of support documentation for filed Forms 10-Q/K

  • Quarterly review of XBRL tagging in Forms 10-Q/K

  • Interact directly with the Company’s external auditors

  • Perform selected Sarbanes-Oxley 404 testing and related documentation

  • Maintain accounting software



    • Minimum 4 years of corporate accounting experience
    • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Advanced MSExcel ability
    • Attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Ability to work independently on multiple complex tasks/projects simultaneously
    • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships across the Company
    • CPA certification preferred
    • Public accounting experience preferred
    • Prior treasury experience is a plus
