Overview

The Manager of Strategic Partnerships is a position centered around client service, and is one where marketing planning and execution is a primary function. The Manager of Strategic Partnerships will manage relationships with external partners and agencies on behalf of Destination Maternity.

 

The Strategic Partnerships team serves as an internal marketing agency that helps external brands reach our audience of expecting moms.  We work directly with some of the best consumer product brands in the baby category such as formula, diapers, photo and other baby goods and services. This Manager will play a significant role in managing key partner projects and work with internal teams to execute cross-channel marketing programs. As part of the Strategic Partnerships team, this role is responsible for managing and cultivating relationships to achieve high partner satisfaction, continuously optimize campaign performance and grow relationships with the partner brands.

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and manage day-to-day relationships with external marketing partners
  • Ensure client satisfaction and deliver great service experiences by identifying partner needs and proactively addressing issues
  • Act as primary day-to-day point person and liase with partners
  • Communicate partner needs internally and work with cross-functional internal teams such as Marketing, Creative, CRM, Allocations, Procurement, Store Operations, etc. to ensure proper placement, schedules, execution, and delivery of all contracted assets.
  • Review all marketing assets and campaign performance to provide clear, actionable feedback to partners based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Build on existing partner relationships to expand relationships.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Destination Maternity’s customers and use this expertise when providing feedback to partners.
  • Regularly access, maintain, and analyze email marketing campaign data to report on performance, identify trends, and make recommendations to partners.
  • Maintain relationship with external agency responsible for contracting media partners in Destination Maternity’s gift bag.
  • Serve as decision-maker on proposals and pricing for gift bag placements presented by external agency.
  • Coordinate schedule, production and fulfillment of Destination Maternity’s gift bag program.
  • Work with cross-functional internal teams to manage gift bag inventory and customer distribution.
  • Stay abreast on all new and emerging marketing trends.
  • Maintain schedule for all available department assets.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, advertising, marketing or related field
  • Experience in advertising, account management, email marketing
  • Excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide timely and professional customer service to our partners
  • High degree of personal accountability and attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work independently required 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once
  • Positive attitude and team player with an eagerness to learn
