Overview

Destination Maternity Corporation, the world’s largest maternity retailer, is looking for a motivated, results-driven search engine marketer expert to increase traffic and revenue from users searching for maternity-related terms on Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.  This important role will be expected to work cross functionally with Marketing, eCommerce, Creative Services and IT, as well as our agency partners, to identify and implement SEO and PPC optimizations to drive growth both organically and via paid efforts.

Responsibilities

 

  • Write Meta tags, including page titles, descriptions and alt tags
  • Perform keyword research
  • Write clear, persuasive, creative copy for text ads
  • Develop appealing and informative online product descriptions
  • Analyze on-page content and make recommendations as needed, while working with IT to execute technical SEO improvements
  • Work closely with the Creative Services team to develop new content
  • Analyze and interpret Google Analytics/Search Console and Brightedge data into actionable insightsReporting, analyzing, and providing actionable insights for internal teams
  • Optimizing Paid Search campaigns across Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter, and Yahoo Gemini
  • Partner with Analytics to maintain and improve recurring reports/dashboards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, with marketing background a plus
  • Several years of experience managing Paid Search accounts in Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter, and Yahoo Gemini, preferably in an agency or specialty retail environment
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and tactics
  • Experienced in Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools, as well as SEO Platforms (Brightedge, MOZ, etc.)
